Rembrand Koning is an assistant professor of business administration in the Strategy Unit at HBS. He teaches the Strategy course in the first-year M.B.A. curriculum. He uses field experiments to study how executives and firms can build networks that help them learn from one another, with an eye towards how these networks foster innovation, the emergence of business ecosystems, and growth in developing economies. His work has been published in Organization Science. Professor Koning earned his Ph.D. in business at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he received a Kauffman Dissertation Fellowship. Prior to his graduate studies, he was a research coordinator at Columbia Business School. He graduated from the University of Chicago with Bachelor degrees in mathematics and statistics.
