Business Executive and Senior Lecturer, Harvard Business School
Martha Crawford is a Franco-American business executive, engineer and scholar who managed global R&D operations for multinational companies and developed products in energy, industrial gases, and chemicals. From 2011 to 2014, she was Director of R&D and Innovation and member of the Executive Committee of Areva. In July 2016, she joined the Harvard Business School as a Senior Lecturer in General Management, teaching courses on leadership and corporate governance and managing energy innovation. Mrs. Crawford is a Knight of the French National Order of Merit and was named "Woman of the Year in R&D" by the French industry journal, L'Usine Nouvelle in 2013. She is an Independent Director of the Altran Group, a French MNE specialized in innovation and high-tech engineering.
She holds a B.S. in Biology, a Ph.D. in Environmental and Chemical Engineering at Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Collège des Ingénieurs (Paris).
